I’m taking a course called Visual Poetics of Literary Form. One of our assignments is to make a piece based on the technique of erasure, notably employed by Tom Phillips A Humument. There’s a Humument app now available for iPad, by the way, and if I had an iPad I would definitely get it. Anyway, it’s a quite addictive activity. I found an awful book called Beverly Gray’s Vacation, and have been playing around with it. I’m planning to do something in video format, eventually.
